How You Can Make a Difference This would not be possible without your donations and our volunteers. Our volunteers donated in excess of 200 hours during the month of December 2017. We are always in need of additional volunteers during the Christmas Day event, those days leading up to and after the event, as well as other fundraising events throughout the year.
We welcome your participation. Please contact our volunteer coordinator at 760-792-7126 or any one of our board members to ask about becoming a volunteer or about ways your organization can assist. You can reach out to us online to sign up as volunteers.
In preparation for the event we will need: • Volunteers to help us at our fundraising events • People who have a reliable car and can run errands such as picking up food and transporting gifts.
Five days before and after Christmas we will need volunteers to: • Decorate the facility • Assist with serving beverages, food and dessert • Greet visitors at the entrance • Help Santa hand out gifts • Transport supplies and equipment • Set up tables and chairs • Clean up the facility after the event • Assist in the kitchen • Provide security • Musicians
